Oh lawd. I love how one person is allowed to throw fits of LOLNERDRAGE, but if someone else does, then they're obviously upset over nothing!

When a game is more important than other people, you are the one with the problem. No one else.

But, like I said, whatever helps you to sleep better at night, peaches. :)

Life is still too long for me to want to erase these feelings.
I want to try and redo those things I left undone.
We were supposed to be going after the continuation of our dreams,
but we trip over people on that bent, narrow path.
It's not like we want to return to those times,
we're just looking for the skies that we've lost.
Stop making that face,
as if you "sacrificed yourself so that I'd understand."
A sin doesn't end with tears,
you have to suffer and carry the burden forever.
Who are you waiting for in the labyrinth of your emotions,
with no exit in sight?
As I spelled them out in this blank notebook,
I want to release my true feelings more and more.
What do you want to escape from?
That thing called "reality?"
Makes me want to scream that we live on
to make our wish come true, you hear me?
No way we can stay on the safe side,
so we don't even have a place to go back to.
I'm always thankful for kindness,
so I want to become strong. (I'm on the way)
I'm feeling nostalgic.
I'll even welcome that pain.

Also had some character named "Daniel" run by me in a game. Of all the people on this server with unique names, and "Daniel" runs by as I post this. Don't tell me life isn't a big ball of wonderful, timey-wimey... stuff.

Well... you didn't wake up this morning
Because you didn't go to bed
You were watching the whites of your eyes
Turn red
The calendar, on your wall, is ticking the days off
The calendar on your wall is ticking
the days off
You've been reading some old letters
You smile and think how much you've changed
All the money in the world
Couldn't bring back those days.
You pull back the curtains, and the sun burns into your eyes,
You watch a plane flying across a clear blue sky.
THIS IS THE DAY -- Your life will surely change.
THIS IS THE DAY -- Your life will surely change.
You could've done anything -- if you'd wanted
And all your friends and family think that you're lucky.
But the side of you they'll never see
Is when you're left alone with the memories
That hold your life together like
Glue

"Heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he’s depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says “Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up.” Man bursts into tears. Says “But, doctor…I am Pagliacci.” Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains. Fade to black."

I think this "living journal" thing is bad for all of us. I think the internet is largely to blame for our current rate of behavioral sink.

We are fooled into thinking that instant communication makes us closer or more intimate. Instead, it is merely the seam ripper that destroys what little thread we have holding our relationships together. It is the junk food that ruins our metaphorical appetite for the human smorgasbord that is social interaction.

If we cannot bear the emotions that come with saying something to one's face, then chances are we are not developed enough to say them at all. An online journal is not the way to make up for our own failures and shortcomings, nor is it an excuse to be complacent in regard to expanding our horizons. Chasing such a foolish idea is like racing against the sunset; eventually, it will set on us. At that point, we're only left in the dark, by ourselves, with no idea of how to get back. The road we find ourselves on, at this point, is what our predecessors would call "The Boulevard of Broken Dreams."

As the light slowly faded from a line to a point, they began to glance at one another. Or, rather, they would have; they no longer knew where the other stood. All they shared, at that moment, was a feeling of loss and confusion. And the sensation of the ground slowly breaking up at their feet: Hers beneath her worn Reeboks, and his beneath four bare feet.

"I forgot to bring a map," she said dejectedly into the darkness. "I get the impression you did, too. Shall we forge a new path together, or do you prefer to hoof it alone?"

He spoke in his trademark monotone, unmoving, barely feeling. Yet, somewhere, there was an uncharacteristic glimmer of hope lingering beneath the surface.

"We might not be the same, but in this darkness, it suddenly makes little difference."

He grinned roguishly, yet she wasn't able to tell. But, somehow, it didn't matter. He was fairly certain she did the same.

I got a bit of angst out of my system, but I am still extremely stressed. Been very I'll as of late, but I'm alive! I am surviving and I am mostly comfortable in the things beyond my own biological machine (worldly issues notwithstanding).

I don't want to use this defunct journal name anymore. I will not pay for a rename token. If I decide to stay on LJ then, I will need to switch to another journal. If you want to stay in touch with me on here, either comment, text, note, IM, or, good heavens, call me so I know. I do not tend to add guilt people into watching my accounts, yet I won't post the name publicly. If you want to know it, please ask. Otherwise, I will assume you are not interested.

Journal will be put to rest later. Might not delete in the end, as I don't want anyone else getting the name, even if I no longer want to use it.
